The Australian D-Link DSL-502T manual gives 10.1.1.1 for its Ethernet LAN interface. This is legacy model documentation, not the default for all D-Link routers. Use the current address if an owner or provider changed it.
Use this local link only when it matches your own equipment and network. RouterEntry does not detect your gateway or collect passwords.
Use the configured management password
The cited edition documents factory admin / admin for local management. Use the changed administrator password when configured. The ISP username and password used for the broadband connection belong to a separate task; do not enter them into the local management prompt by assumption.
Inspect Status before changing anything
The Status tab contains read-only Device Information, DHCP Clients, Event Log, Traffic Statistics and ADSL Status. Device Information separates current LAN and WAN details. These views help distinguish reaching the modem locally from a working broadband connection.
Viewing status does not require running the setup wizard, saving configuration or clearing the event log. Retain existing settings while identifying the symptom.
If 10.1.1.1 does not open
Check the Ethernet connection and your computer’s current address. The manual’s default arrangement uses DHCP; check the actual gateway instead of forcing an address taken from a different D-Link model. The LAN address can be changed.
Use local-access diagnostics or the equipment directory to identify a different device. Do not install obsolete USB drivers or reset your broadband configuration merely to open this legacy interface.
