StarTech documents 10.10.1.1 for the exact discontinued R150WN1X1T travel router in its April 8, 2014 manual. This is not a universal StarTech or travel-router default. A configured current LAN address and current administrator protection take precedence beside the HTTP action below.

Connect to the exact travel router
Confirm the R150WN1X1T, connect to its documented ComWi_xxxxxx wireless network and open the HTTP address above. If its LAN address was changed, use that current address instead. Preserve the existing hotel or upstream-network arrangement.
A hotel captive-portal password belongs to the hotel’s access service; it is distinct from this device’s web protection and Wi-Fi credentials.
Do not invent a factory login
The cited manual does not document a factory username/password pair: its setup wizard opens directly, and Management → Password can configure web protection. Use the current administrator login if the owner enabled one; do not substitute admin/admin.
For a non-changing check, inspect the wizard’s existing operation mode without choosing Next or Apply. The documented factory mode is Gateway, but an installed unit may use another configured mode.
If 10.10.1.1 does not respond
Check the exact discontinued model, ComWi/local connection, current LAN address and any current web protection. Do not assume that this travel router is still using its factory Gateway mode or initial address.
Use local-access checks or ask the owner for the current configuration. Do not reset the device or alter a working captive-portal/network setup merely to make the initial address respond.
