Winegard documents 10.11.12.1 for Gateway and Gateway Pro models GW-1000 and GW-PRO1. Join the unit’s main WiFi using its current network key. Do not substitute WiFiRanger addressing or treat this as a universal RV-router default; the current management address takes precedence after changes.
While connected to your Gateway’s main WiFi, enter 10.11.12.1 in your browser address bar.
For Winegard Gateway or Gateway Pro models GW-1000 and GW-PRO1 at this current address. Use the current main-WiFi key and administration password. The manufacturer sources do not specify HTTP, HTTPS or a port.
Join the main Gateway WiFi
The initial unique SSID and network key are on the manual label. Use the installed current WiFi details, then follow the visible browser instruction above. Guest WiFi cannot access Status.
The manual and current help article tell users to enter the number in the browser but do not establish HTTP, HTTPS or a port. No scheme is inferred here.
Use the current administration password
The manual documents admin / admin only for unchanged initial administration. Use the current administration password after a change. WiFi and administration credentials have different roles.
Open Network Activity to view connected devices, the active network and usage since power-on. Depending on the interface version, use the left menu or mobile hamburger, or the older Navigate to Page dropdown. Do not change the network address, provider, firmware or subscription.
If 10.11.12.1 does not respond
Confirm the exact GW-1000 or GW-PRO1, its main—not guest—WiFi, current address and current administration password. Ask the owner or Winegard support for changed management details.
Do not reset the Gateway, change service settings or construct an HTTP/HTTPS target merely to recover the documented number.
