10.5.50.1 is a configurable MikroTik RouterOS HotSpot network address/example, not every MikroTik router’s factory management IP. This page is for captive-portal client sign-in, not router administration. Join the operator’s actual HotSpot network and prefer the current HTTPS hostname or URL they provide; the HTTP action below is conditional on this existing HotSpot using 10.5.50.1 over HTTP.

Use only the operator-confirmed portal
Open the action above only when the HotSpot operator confirms this network uses http://10.5.50.1/login. RouterOS supports configurable HTTP and HTTPS portal arrangements. If the operator supplied an HTTPS hostname or URL, use that instead and preserve certificate validation.
Do not assume numeric HTTPS will have a matching certificate, or treat this client sign-in route as a router-management interface.
Use the current portal account
Use the operator’s current HotSpot account and sign-in instructions. Wi-Fi credentials, captive-portal credentials and MikroTik router-administration credentials are separate roles.
After successful authentication, use the same operator-approved scheme and host with /status to view your session’s available duration or traffic fields. Customized portals may present different fields; no router configuration is needed.
If the portal does not open
Confirm that you joined the correct current HotSpot network and ask its operator for the active portal URL and account instructions. Do not guess a router-admin login or weaken certificate checks.
Do not configure a HotSpot, change device mode or reset network equipment merely to open this example address.
