This follows Kollmorgen’s KAS 2.12 documentation for AKD PDMM controllers. It documents 192.168.0.102 for rotary-switch position 2. Position 0 uses DHCP or AutoIP; position 1 permits a custom address. This inspection assumes the operator has confirmed the existing position-2 installation and current address.
From the controller’s existing authorized network, enter its confirmed current address in a browser. These access instructions specify neither scheme nor port; use the operator’s current management details. Do not move the rotary switch.
Use the current authorized web account when prompted. The KAS 2.12 guide lists administrator as the initial username and password, and says the password can change. An installed controller’s account takes precedence.
Read the Network pane
Open Settings, then Network. Read the reported rotary-switch position and MAC address and compare them with the operator’s records. This identifies the controller without changing its network configuration.
If access fails
Have the operator verify the current address, connection and account. Leave address fields, Apply, Reboot, firmware and application controls untouched. Do not change hardware switches or reset the controller to make this address respond.
