This follows Kollmorgen’s KAS Network tab documentation reviewed September 30, 2026. It assigns 192.168.0.109 to rotary-switch position 9. This task applies only to an existing KAS controller whose model, installed software, selector position and current address have been confirmed by the operator.

Open this local interface

On the existing authorized management network, enter the operator-confirmed controller address in the browser. Use 192.168.0.109 only when the documented position-9 address applies.

Use the browser protocol and port confirmed for that controller. The general numeric-address instructions do not establish a universal scheme. If login is required, use the current authorized account; the documented initial administrator password can be changed.

Read the network identity

Open Settings → Network. Read the displayed rotary-switch position and MAC address, then compare them with the operator’s device inventory. This inspection helps establish which controller is responding; it does not change its addressing.

Keep the current configuration

Leave the rotary selector and Manual IP Address fields unchanged. Do not use Apply, Reboot, reset or motion controls for this inspection. If the model, address or displayed position differs, stop and have the operator resolve the mismatch.
