Cambium documents 192.168.0.3 as the initial local management address for cnReach N550 radios. This industrial fixed-wireless context does not apply to N500 or every Cambium product. Use the operator’s current address, management VLAN and protocol after configuration.

Open cnReach N550 login ↗

Use this HTTP address only for a matching cnReach N550 that still uses the documented initial route. Current IP, management VLAN, protocol and operator-created credentials take precedence.

Use the N550 management path

Connect a same-subnet computer through the matching N550’s direct Ethernet interface or an active radio link, then open the documented HTTP action above only while the initial address remains current. HTTPS applies when configured for it.

Bridged management follows the interface PVID’s VLAN address, while local Ethernet uses Vlan1 in the documented context. Follow the operator’s installed interface and management VLAN rather than reconnecting the radio to an unrelated LAN.

Use the current account when configured

The quick start says initial GUI access requires no username or password by default. An operator-created account enforces login. Use current credentials when an account has been configured.

Open Network/Interface Settings and read the existing Ethernet or radio interface mode and management VLAN. Do not change bridge or routing mode, VLANs, radio operation, IO, credentials or firmware.

If 192.168.0.3 does not respond

Confirm the exact cnReach N550, connected interface, compatible client subnet, current radio address, management VLAN and configured protocol. A timeout can also indicate a duplicate address.

DHCP management behavior was not established. Use operator records rather than assuming an upstream lease, and do not reset or upgrade the radio to force its initial route.
