This follows Altair's MAP-128/MAP-1216 online manual, using its MAP-1216 screen example. It documents 192.168.1.128 as the default LAN address. Confirm the exact model and current address with the operator first.

From a PC on the processor's existing authorized LAN, enter its confirmed current address in the browser. The manual's numeric access instructions specify neither a scheme nor a port.

The cited browser-check section supplies no login account. Refer an unexpected authentication prompt to the operator; do not assume a universal password.

Read Processor Data

The browser information page displays Processor Firmware and Dsp Firmware separately, along with Serial Number. Record the two version values for your support discussion. The manual's example values do not identify your installed versions.

If the page does not appear

Ask the operator to confirm the current processor address and existing LAN connection. Leave address-editing controls, software downloads and audio settings unused for this check.
