This WE300 workflow follows software 3.1.1, released November 2015. The quick-start Ethernet default is 192.168.1.160/24; use the current static or DHCP address if changed. This is not a general router gateway.
On the WE300’s existing local network, enter 192.168.1.160 in your browser’s address bar only if it remains the device’s current address.
Use the current authorized account; admin/admin is the documented initial SYSTEM pair. Browser protocol and port are unspecified in the reviewed login instructions.
Confirm the connection
Check the existing Ethernet connection and subnet with the operator. The documented mask is 255.255.255.0. Preserve production addressing instead of changing it to force the default.
Read system information
Open Administration → System → Info and inspect version, uptime and memory. Account permissions differ; ask the operator for access if the menu is unavailable. Leave configuration links untouched; do not run commands, change variables, send messages or activate cloud services.
If access fails
Confirm current address, subnet, connection and account with the operator, including expiry or permissions where relevant. Contact Nethix support for a different interface version. Resetting or rebooting is unnecessary for this check.
