Allied Telesis documents 192.168.1.230 as the default LAN address for AT-MWS600AP and AT-MWS900AP access points in the referenced Japan manual. Use the installed current address and management service after changes. Do not generalize this route to other Allied Telesis access points.
Use this HTTP address only for a matching AT-MWS600AP or AT-MWS900AP that still uses the documented default. The installed address, protocol and administrator credentials take precedence.
Connect to the AP’s management network
Use an Ethernet connection to the matching access point and a computer with an unused address in the same subnet. The documented default subnet is /24. Open the HTTP action above only while this address and service still match the installation.
HTTP forwarding and HTTPS can be configured. Follow the installer’s current address and protocol rather than enabling or changing a service merely to reach the page.
Use the current administrator credentials
The manual documents factory username manager and password friend. Use the current administrator credentials after a change. Wi-Fi access credentials are separate.
Open Overview → Device Status and read firmware, LAN address and DHCP information, operating mode and channel. Viewing requires no Apply action, upgrade or radio change.
If 192.168.1.230 does not respond
Confirm the exact AT-MWS600AP or AT-MWS900AP, Ethernet connection, current management address and protocol, and a compatible client subnet. Check DHCP assignments only when this AP was configured as a DHCP client and is connected to that server.
Do not reset, scan, upgrade or change radio or operating mode simply to force the documented default address.
