RouterEntry · Sources checked · How we write our guides
This page follows the PEC IP’s June 2018 interface. Its documented default is 192.168.1.4; an installed static or DHCP address takes precedence. It is not a DHCP-fallback claim or a default for every CAME model.
On the intercom’s authorized local network, enter 192.168.1.4 in your browser’s address bar only if that is its current address.
Select User and use its current authorized password; 123456 is the documented default. The reviewed browser instructions do not specify a management protocol or port.
Confirm the installed connection
Ask the installer to confirm the intercom’s current address, client subnet and existing Ethernet/PoE connection. Browser User credentials are separate from SIP account fields.
Read Status → Summary
Open Status → Summary to inspect device, SIP and network information. User mode also permits firmware updates, so leave maintenance and configuration controls untouched.
If access fails
Recheck the current address and User credentials with the installer. No Installer/Admin login, new installation or PCS Xip setup is required for this viewing task. Do not reset, rewire, update firmware or test door/call controls.
