This follows DoorKing's 1830-181 Rev H 8-20 instructions for adapter 1830-185. Its documented static default is 192.168.1.40; use the current address if changed. This is the converter interface, not a generic router login.
Open DoorKing converter status
Open only on the converter's authorized local network after confirming its current address. Initial credentials are admin / admin; use the installed credentials if different. Port 1040 is a converter data setting, not a port to add to this browser URL.
Read Current Status
Open Current Status and inspect firmware revision, current IP address, runtime and Ethernet connection state. Leave configuration, reboot and reset controls untouched.
If access fails
Have the administrator confirm the current converter address, existing network path, computer subnet and login. A changed static address requires the new browser address. Do not disconnect cables, reconfigure the computer, change converter or entry-system settings, or reset the adapter for this inspection.
