This follows CAME’s DVC/IP ME interface in the July 2015 version 1 manual. The static default is 192.168.1.5 with mask 255.255.255.0. Use the installed address if changed; this edition marks DHCP for future use.
On the entry panel's authorized local network, enter 192.168.1.5 in your browser's address bar only if it is its current address.
Select USER and use the current authorized password. The documented initial USER password is 123456. The reviewed browser instructions do not establish a management scheme or port.
Confirm the installed panel
Ask the installer to confirm the DVC/IP ME model, current address, client subnet and existing network/power connection. This static default is not a DHCP fallback.
Read System information
Inspect hardware/software versions and SIP account status in System information. USER also permits firmware updates; leave maintenance, network, call and door controls untouched. SIP credentials are separate from browser login.
If access fails
Confirm the current USER password with the installer. Do not reset, rewire, run PCS Xip setup or update firmware just to inspect an installed panel.
