This follows the SIOL-EI8B manual, 1st Edition, Rev. E, May 2024. The saved default address is 192.168.1.6 in the last-saved-address mode identified by switch setting 255. Factory switch setting 000 uses DHCP. Confirm the installed unit's current address and mode.
Open this only on the authorized plant network after confirming the current address and that the web interface is enabled. If login is required, use your existing authorized account. Initial administrator credentials are admin / private; a changed password takes precedence.
Read installed versions
The web interface opens on Status. In Device version, read the hardware version, currently running software version and WebUI version. Record the displayed information without using parameter or output controls.
If access fails
Ask the plant administrator to confirm the current address: factory DHCP operation can produce a different address from the saved default. The web interface and TCP port 80 can also be disabled. Confirm their existing state without changing switches, network settings or device operation.
