Hikvision documents 192.168.1.64 for the DS-3E15XXP Gigabit PoE switch series, with DS-3E1510P as the browser-login example. This page is for that legacy switch interface, not a Hikvision camera or newer EI model. Use the installation’s current management address after changes.
Enter 192.168.1.64 in your browser address bar while connected to the switch’s local network.
Use this only for a matching DS-3E15XXP switch at its current management address. Use admin with the password created during activation or its current replacement. The manual does not specify a browser protocol or port.
Use the switch’s current local segment
Connect through the matching switch’s local management network, then enter the address using the visible browser instruction above. The computer and switch must be on the same network segment.
The manual does not specify HTTP, HTTPS or a port for this browser workflow. Preserve the installed protocol and address rather than assuming a DHCP fallback or using an upstream router’s address.
Use the password created during activation
The documented administrator username is admin. Initial activation creates the password, and an installed switch requires that current password. There is no universal factory password.
Open Device Status → Port Status to view connection state, rate and duplex. Do not press the statistics Reset control or change port or PoE settings.
If 192.168.1.64 does not respond
Confirm the exact DS-3E15XXP switch, its current management address, local network segment and current administrator credentials. Ask the installer or administrator when those details have changed.
Do not activate, reset or reconfigure an operating switch merely to make the documented initial address respond.
