This follows the DT-ATSC-IP-8V2 User Manual hosted by North American Cable Equipment. It documents 192.168.1.9 as the utility-port factory address. The utility interface can use DHCP or a configured static address; confirm the current address and exact model with the operator.

Open this local interface

Use the existing authorized connection to the utility-port network and enter the operator-confirmed browser address. The specifications list embedded HTTP management, but the numeric login instructions supply no full URL or explicit port; retain the current management details.

Use the current web account. The manual lists admin / Admin123 for initial login and provides a separate password-change function; these are not universal installed credentials.

Read Overview

Open Overview and read the RF input type, frequency, SNR and signal status for the intended input. Record the displayed values for the operator. This status page supports checking reception without changing the ingest or streaming configuration.

If access fails

Confirm the current utility-port address and account. The separate IP streaming output has its own network settings. Leave network, ingest, streaming and administration controls unchanged; do not reset, reboot or update the converter for this inspection.
