Cisco documents 192.168.10.10 as the AP541N Dual-band Single-radio Access Point’s default static management address. A DHCP assignment can replace it. Confirm this exact legacy model and its current address; this is not a default for every Cisco router. Open Cisco AP541N configuration utility
Use this documented HTTP address only when it is the AP541N’s current management address. The initial case-sensitive username and password are cisco / cisco; use current credentials after a change. Initial access uses Ethernet and the same subnet; the factory wireless radio is disabled.
Find the current access-point address
Check the exact AP541N model and existing management connection. On a serving DHCP network, the owner can match the AP’s MAC address to its current lease. An unchanged initial setup uses Ethernet and a computer on the same subnet.
The factory wireless radio is initially disabled, so an absent initial wireless network alone does not establish an access-point fault. Follow the installed current address and network arrangement.
Sign in and inspect Management information
The documented initial username and password are both case-sensitive cisco. Use the currently configured credentials when changed.
After authorized login, use the Management area’s system-information or wireless-client-association view for a read-only check. Leave network settings unchanged. The support article’s AP541N-K9-2.0(4) software scope is not a claim about every installed firmware version.
If the utility does not open
Check power and Ethernet indicators and confirm the computer’s management subnet. Look up a current DHCP assignment only on a network actually serving this AP, or ask the owner for its configured address and account.
A reset, firmware change, obsolete browser plug-in or certificate-warning bypass is unnecessary for this inspection. These legacy documents do not guarantee current browser compatibility.
