This follows the QHora-321 User Guide, document version 2, dated August 30, 2022. LAN5 on physical Port 6 defaults to 192.168.104.1. Other ports have separate addresses, and configured LAN addresses take priority. Confirm the current interface with the operator.
On the existing authorized LAN5 network, enter 192.168.104.1 in the browser address bar if that is still its current address.
The guide’s numeric browser instructions specify neither scheme nor port. Sign in using the current local account supplied by the operator. The manual’s initial admin/MAC-derived password and first-setup instructions do not replace an existing account; QNAP ID binding is separate.
Read device information
Open More in the top taskbar, then About. Record the displayed operating system, hardware model and firmware version for the operator. This identifies the installed device and software without initiating a firmware check or update.
If the page differs
Confirm the model, current LAN5 address and account. Stop at initial-setup or account-binding prompts. Leave domain settings, remote support, resets and firmware changes outside this inspection.
