RouterEntry · Sources checked · How we write our guides

For Highland Broadband customers using the provider’s supplied router. Its current support FAQ lists HTTPS access at 192.168.108.1 or 192.168.1.1. The equipment article names Adtran routers, but does not map either address to an individual model or firmware version. Use this page only when 192.168.108.1 matches your installed router’s current management address; it is not a universal Adtran default.

Connect to your own supplied router by WiFi or Ethernet. The provider specifies username admin and an admin password on the router’s underside. If that password was changed, use the current authorized one. Do not confuse the admin password with the WiFi password, which the FAQ also locates on the bottom label.

Inspect the connection without changing it

For the installation described in Highland’s troubleshooting guide, inspect both the ONT and router: the guide describes green ONT lights, which may flicker, and a glowing white router light as the connected state. Check that the ONT and router have power and that their existing cables are connected. Record the light colours if they differ; do not apply this light pattern to unrelated equipment.

If the address or login does not work

First confirm that you are on the supplied router’s local network and that its current address is 192.168.108.1. The provider also documents 192.168.1.1, so the first address is not guaranteed for every installation. If the label is missing, credentials have changed, or the installed equipment does not match, ask the account holder or Highland support to confirm the details. Leave the router and ONT powered; do not press factory reset unless Highland’s technical team instructs you.
