Philips PocketMemo ACC8160, manual version 1.0 dated September 23, 2013. DHCP is the factory setting. The manual’s no-DHCP installation procedure selects static 192.168.109.1; this page applies only when that is already the adapter’s current address. Initial setup requires LAN, not WiFi.
Leave the username empty and use the current administrator password. The initial password is administrator. The manual warns that browser authentication travels in clear text; do not reuse a network or domain-administrator password.
Read the installed firmware
After opening the confirmed adapter interface, read the firmware version in the STATUS panel at the top. Record it; do not start an upgrade or submit configuration changes.
Check the current address first
With the supported recorder docked, display the adapter configuration using RIGHT SMART + MENU on the 9600 series or F3 + plus on the 8000 series. Use the displayed address if it differs. For failed access, check the existing LAN connection and, where DHCP is used, its assignment. Do not switch addressing modes or reset the adapter just to reach this page.
