This follows the F518 User Manual v1.00 dated September 18, 2025, distributed in D-Link’s B1 download path. 192.168.125.1 is its documented default management address. This task assumes an existing authorized local connection to that hotspot.

Open F518 management

Use the operator-confirmed current address and admin password; both can be changed. The initial password is on the product’s back-cover label. The manual explicitly uses HTTPS without an additional port. If a certificate warning prevents access, verify the device and address with the operator.

Read counters with their time context

Open Statistics and inspect Mobile Network. Record Current data usage and Total data usage, together with the Duration shown for each. The current counter covers the active session; the total counter is cumulative over its displayed interval.

Preserve the existing statistics

Keep Clear History, monthly-limit settings and connection controls unchanged. If the view or login differs, ask the operator to confirm the installed version and current access details before continuing.
