192.168.127.1 is the BB-400’s initial LAN/Eth1 address. Uplink normally uses DHCP and its Wi-Fi AP has another address. Follow the installed LAN address and management port if changed.
Open BB-400 web administration
Use the existing authorized LAN path and current account. The initial username is bb and initial password is the last four MAC-address characters, only if unchanged. Confirm the destination and unexpected certificate warnings with the owner before entering credentials.
Confirm LAN versus Uplink
Check which interface you are reaching. LAN/Eth1 initially uses 192.168.127.1/24; a DHCP-assigned Uplink address is a separate route. The documented web administration service uses HTTPS on port 9090.
Read Networking
Inspect the Sending and Receiving graphs and the Interfaces table’s current addresses and traffic. Do not toggle connections, edit firewall rules or add a bond, bridge or VLAN.
If administration does not open
Confirm the current address, interface, port and login with the owner. Do not reconnect production cables, reset the controller or change I/O for this check.
