RouterEntry · Sources checked · How we write our guides
Applies to: Hiwonder MentorPi v2.0 documentation, depth-camera setup in AP direct-connection mode, with camera transmission already configured and running. Other modes may use a different address.
Use only on your own authorised device network. RouterEntry does not access devices or collect passwords.
Match the device network
Join the robot’s existing HW-prefixed Wi-Fi hotspot using its current authorised Wi-Fi password. The AP address belongs to the robot’s Raspberry Pi; it is not a general home-router address.
Inspect the RGB image
Open the exact HTTP address above, including port 8080. Select the RGB image_raw or Snapshot item shown on the page. The documented browser view supports RGB images; do not assume another camera topic has the same path.
Keep camera and remote-desktop access separate
The browser-camera instructions do not supply a web-login password. VNC and Wi-Fi credentials serve different connections. If the page is unavailable, confirm the current mode and ask the device maintainer to check the documented camera-service setup. Do not issue movement, restart or configuration commands for this viewing check.
