Applies to: Barix Barionet 1000 with Quick Install Guide V2.15, on its device Wi-Fi. Earlier versions and other Barionet models may differ.
While connected to the device’s own Wi-Fi, enter 192.168.166.1 in the browser address bar. These numeric browser instructions specify no scheme or port.
Use only on your own authorised device network. RouterEntry does not access devices or collect passwords.
Match the connection
Use the device’s Wi-Fi network whose name begins Barionet_. Its documented joining passphrase is barionet. The default Wi-Fi is available for five minutes after power-up; configured Wi-Fi stays enabled. Ethernet normally uses DHCP, so obtain its actual address separately.
Use the device login
The root web login uses the device password printed on its rear sticker, or its current password if changed. This differs from the Wi-Fi passphrase.
Inspect inputs only
Open Advanced → LUCI config interface, then Barionet. Read the digital-input status. Do not press relay or output controls, change network settings or reset the installed device.
