RouterEntry · Sources checked · How we write our guides

Applies to: the Paradox IP180 Internet Module, installation manual V1.00.005, in the no-Ethernet hotspot procedure. This is an alarm-system module, not a general home-router default.

Open this local interface

While connected to your own IP180 hotspot, enter 192.168.180.1 in the browser address bar. The manual gives a numeric address without specifying HTTP or HTTPS.

This address is local to the documented setup connection. RouterEntry does not connect to your module or collect credentials.

Check the model and connection first

The documented hotspot is named for the IP180 and its serial number. Use this route only when that setup hotspot is already available and you are authorized to manage the module. Do not disconnect a working alarm connection to make the hotspot appear.

Inspect the available Wi-Fi networks

The browser screen lists networks for connecting the IP180. Compare the visible network names with the network you intended to use. For this check, stop before selecting a network, entering its password or pressing Connect.

Keep passwords and management routes separate

The password requested after choosing a Wi-Fi network belongs to that network. This procedure does not establish a universal browser administrator password. The manual uses BlueEye for subsequent site access; keep that access separate from Wi-Fi credentials.

If this page does not open

Recheck the exact module and whether your device is on its documented hotspot. Do not try unrelated default credentials or reset the alarm equipment. Use the official manual or the system installer for the existing installation. For general browser-versus-network checks, use guided troubleshooting.
