This follows legacy VG manual V1.01, provided for VG 31-08. 192.168.192.1 is the documented WAN default on two-interface units or ETH default on one-interface units; the two-interface LAN default differs. A changed interface address takes precedence.

Open this local interface

On the administrator-approved existing management network, enter 192.168.192.1 in the browser only if it remains the gateway's current address. Follow the installed scheme and port.

Use the current authorized account if prompted. No factory username/password is established. The manual documents an operator role for viewing configuration; ask for an existing suitable account without changing authentication.

Confirm the interface

Ask the administrator to verify the model, current management address and client subnet. Do not move production cables to reach a factory default.

Read gatekeeper status

Open Voice → GK Client → GK Client Status and read start and registration status. Leave neighboring GK configuration and call controls unchanged.

If access fails

Confirm existing management access and account permissions with the administrator. Do not run a setup wizard, reset, enable services or save configuration just to read status.
