Siemens documents this Ethernet address for OZW772.01, OZW772.04, OZW772.16 and OZW772.250 in its V5.2 commissioning manual dated October 15, 2014. DHCP is enabled at delivery; 192.168.2.10 is used when the router’s DHCP service is unavailable. Use the current DHCP or manually assigned address on an installed system. This is a Synco/KNX web server, not a general router gateway.
Open Siemens OZW772 local web server
Use this address only for a matching OZW772 at its current Ethernet address. The documented V5.2 default enables HTTPS on port 443 and disables HTTP on port 80. Use the installed local account and current password; the manual’s initial Administrator / Password commissioning pair requires immediate replacement.
Confirm the installed Ethernet address
Connect from the existing authorized management LAN and confirm the exact OZW772 model and client subnet with the operator. The documented fallback is 192.168.2.10 with mask 255.255.255.0. Where the device is actually served by DHCP, identify its current assignment using its Ethernet MAC in that network’s device records.
The separate USB commissioning address is not this Ethernet destination. Preserve the installed network and use the operator’s current address if it differs.
Sign in and read Device information
Use the existing local account and password. The V5.2 first-commissioning flow uses case-sensitive Administrator / Password and immediately requires a replacement password. If unexpected first-time setup appears, stop this status check and contact the administrator.
From Home, select the actual installed OZW772 entry, then Device information → Ethernet to read IP, DHCP state, mask, gateway, DNS and MAC. Device information → Web server shows type, software/build and hardware version. These screens are information-only; leave Settings, KNX addressing and plant controls unchanged.
If the local page does not open
Recheck the model, Ethernet connection, current address, client subnet and account with the operator. The documented default service is HTTPS 443; HTTP 80 is disabled until configured. Confirm unexpected certificate or device-identity warnings with the operator.
Changing services, resetting, rewiring KNX equipment, installing USB drivers or registering a portal account is unnecessary for this read-only inspection.
