RouterEntry · Sources checked · How we write our guides
This covers the Telos Series 2101 hub on its owner’s station network. 192.168.21.1 is its documented default; follow the current address if changed. It is not a Studio I/O or home-router default.
Use an authorized workstation on the hub’s network and the current web password from the station administrator. Telos is the documented initial web password; no web username is established. Assistant Producer call-screening accounts are separate.
Read Line Status
Open Line Status and note the Telco line state. Telos says a properly configured line should show green. Leave Protocol and Trunk configuration links untouched; this inspection requires no call handling or show changes.
Confirm the browser route
Ask the station administrator to confirm the current address, workstation subnet and existing Ethernet connection. The documented HTTP browser port is 80; 8100 is the hub’s Advertise port.
If access differs
Stop if setup, registry repair or configuration changes are requested and refer them to the station administrator. Do not restart the hub to perform this check.
