This follows the KCell 5G R17 Gateway User Guide v04, dated November 3, 2025 and marked preliminary. It documents 192.168.224.1 as the default web address. Have the operator confirm the model, current address and existing authorized LAN connection.
Use the operator's current local account. The guide describes initial username admin and a label password, then requires replacing that password before interacting with the interface. This task assumes that setup is complete; stop and refer first-password prompts to the operator. HTTP is explicit in this edition.
Inspect mobile signal
Open Status → Network and read the signal strength indication. Record what the page displays for the operator. The guide does not provide a signal-quality threshold here, so do not turn the reading into an unsupported pass or fail.
Preserve the installation
Leave antenna positions, cabling, network settings and firmware unchanged. If the menu differs or access fails, confirm the installed software and current access details with the operator before continuing.
