This is the ES8520-XT’s factory management address in the 2016 guide. An administrator’s static address or DHCP assignment supersedes it.
Open the ES8520-XT at its default address
Use this documented HTTPS route only for the identified switch at its current address. Use the current switch account; admin/admin applies only if unchanged.
Confirm the management path
Connect from the existing switch-management network and confirm its current address and client subnet with the administrator.
Read Port Status
Open Port Configuration → Port Status. Read Link and Speed/Duplex for the affected port. Leave SFP and configuration controls unchanged.
If access fails
Recheck management addressing and account details. Ask the administrator to resolve unexpected certificate or authentication failures. Do not bypass warnings or reset the switch simply to inspect status.
