Xiaomi’s AC1200 setup guide gives 192.168.31.1 as a local configuration address. Match the exact product and connect to your own router’s network; a changed LAN address takes precedence.
Use this local link only when it matches your own equipment and network. RouterEntry does not detect your gateway or collect passwords.
First setup and an existing login are different
For a new AC1200, Xiaomi’s guide says to join the initial network identified on the bottom label and use router.miwifi.com or192.168.31.1 if the setup page does not appear. That initial setup state is not a claim that an already configured Wi-Fi network has no password.
Use the administrator password you chose
The setup flow creates Wi-Fi and administrator passwords, with an option to use the same value for both. For later sign-in, use the chosen management password; do not assume admin/admin. Broadband-provider credentials, if the selected internet service needs them during setup, are a separate account.
If the page is missing or the old password fails
Confirm that you are on the router’s local network and check the current gateway. A changed address or connection to another router can explain a failed bookmark. Inspect the model and current setup state before rerunning configuration.
Use administrator-password checks if the page opens but login fails, or connection troubleshooting if it never opens. Do not reset or enter provider credentials simply to test whether the local page is reachable.
