This follows the ALFA R36AH interface in installation guide QIG-R36AH-EN-1.1. 192.168.36.1 is its documented default local address. Confirm the owner’s current address and interface; this does not establish defaults for other ALFA models or replacement firmware.
On the owner's existing R36AH LAN or Wi-Fi connection, enter 192.168.36.1 in the browser address bar only if it is the current address, following the owner's access instructions.
The guide identifies admin as the default username and a web password created by the user. Use the current login. Web and Wi-Fi passwords are separate; no universal password, numeric browser scheme or port is established.
Use the existing local connection
Confirm the exact R36AH and current LAN or Wi-Fi connection. The guide uses LAN1 for wired access and gives initial wireless name R36AH-xxxxxx; use the owner’s current details.
Read Status
Open Status in the left-hand menu to refresh the run-time view and note the connection result. Keep the existing mode and settings. Stop if a first-time password or setup screen appears.
If access fails
Check the current address and connection with the owner. For an existing wired connection, confirm the LAN1 indicator is lit. Do not reset, change modes or reconnect USB equipment for this check. A dark USB indicator is expected in Ethernet router mode.
