This follows KVH’s V7-HTS ICM help. 192.168.6.1 is the documented High-speed LAN default; use the vessel’s current configured address if different. The separate Unlimited LAN uses another address.
On the authorized ICM network, enter 192.168.6.1 in your browser's address bar only if it is the unit's current address.
If prompted, use the current authorized Administrator password. The legacy help lists password only for an unchanged initial password. The numeric browser instruction does not specify a management scheme or port.
Confirm the current ICM address
The ICM front panel shows its address under Settings → Network Settings → IP Assignments. Use the existing authorized network; do not join the separate LANs together.
Read Home status
Inspect Connection Status, Antenna State and My Phone. The documented normal indications are Online, Tracking, and Online & Ready, respectively. Leave service and antenna settings unchanged.
If the page does not open
Recheck the front-panel IP and status, then ask the vessel’s network administrator about its current setup or login. No restart, reset or airtime test is needed for this inspection.
