RouterEntry · Sources checked · How we write our guides
This follows the GWA502 interface in IOGEAR's 2004 manual, PKG-M0108. 192.168.62.10 is its documented default LAN address; the owner may have changed it. The document does not establish your installed firmware.
Use the owner's existing local connection and current web credentials. The manual's login procedure gives admin / admin only when unchanged. Use the owner's current address if it differs.
Confirm the local interface
Confirm the exact GWA502 model and current LAN address. The documented local URL uses HTTP. Port 8080 belongs to the manual's separate WAN remote-management feature; do not add it to this local address.
Read DHCP Client
After authorized login, choose Custom, then the LAN category and DHCP Client. Read the clients assigned by this router's DHCP server. Leave address mappings and other configuration controls unchanged.
If the page or list is unexpected
Confirm the current address and credentials with the owner. The list describes DHCP assignments, not every device on the network. Stop at setup prompts or a different interface; do not reset the router or alter its network.
