Amped Wireless documents 192.168.80.240 as a direct HTTP access path for the APA1300M ARTEMIS-AP when the setup hostname does not open. It is an access point, not an Amped router or a generic extender. Do not treat this as a universal factory address: the same user guide’s Default Settings table prints 192.168.80.1, and current DHCP or static assignments take precedence.
Use this exact manual-documented direct-IP path only when it matches the unit’s current network state. Factory web access has no password; after setup, use the optional web-menu password configured by the owner. No username is documented.
Confirm the exact access point and current address
Match the unit to the APA1300M ARTEMIS-AP High Power AC1300 access point and connect through its local network. Try its current assigned or static management address first.
The manual’s normal access and troubleshooting sections repeatedly print 192.168.80.240, while its Default Settings table prints 192.168.80.1. This inconsistency can explain an address mismatch and does not prove failed hardware.
Use the web password and view System Status
Factory web access requires no password according to Management → Password Settings. The setup wizard lets the owner create an optional web-menu password; use that configured password afterward. It is separate from the default Wi-Fi key wireless, and no management username is documented.
Open More Settings → Management → System Status to view system, wireless-network/configuration and current-IP information. Leave Apply and all configuration controls alone.
If the web menu does not open
Recheck the exact model, local-network connection and current address. When DHCP client mode is active, the administrator may check the upstream router’s DHCP client list. Preserve existing client settings.
If a setup wizard appears on an installed unit, stop and consult the owner. Do not enable or disable radios, alter DHCP/static settings, attach storage, reboot, reset or run setup for this status check.
