This follows the FREEDOM/FREEDOM LTE-A Quick Start Guide. 192.168.89.1 is its documented receiver interface address. Confirm the current address and model; Wave WiFi's separate routers have a different access context.
On the owner's existing connection to the onboard network serving the FREEDOM, enter 192.168.89.1 in the browser address bar after confirming the current access details. The model-specific numeric instructions provide no scheme or port.
Wave WiFi's FAQ says its WiFi receiver interface has no login password. That is separate from the onboard router's account and Wi-Fi password. Refer an unexpected login prompt to the owner instead of guessing credentials.
Confirm the existing connection
Check that your current onboard network is the one connected to the FREEDOM. The guide also permits an existing direct Ethernet connection. A changed receiver address takes precedence over the documented one.
Read the firmware version
Open Settings and read the firmware version at the bottom right, beside the serial information. Note the displayed version without selecting updates, changing settings or rebooting.
If the interface is unavailable
Confirm the network and current receiver address with the owner, and use an up-to-date browser. Have them check your assigned IP settings if access still fails. Do not reset the receiver or start a new hotspot or cellular connection for this check.
