TP-Link’s TL-WA901ND V4 manual documents this factory management address. Connect to the access point’s local network first. Other hardware versions and an already changed LAN address may use a different route.
Use this local link only when it matches your own equipment and network. RouterEntry does not detect your gateway or collect passwords.
Sign in to the access point
The V4 manual also gives tplinkap.net. Its unchanged factory login is admin for both fields; use the current administrator credentials if changed. These credentials manage the access point and need not match the wireless key or upstream router login.
Inspect Status without changing configuration
The manual identifies Status as read-only. It shows firmware/hardware details, wired IP information, wireless operating mode and traffic. Check these details to confirm that you reached the intended access point before attempting configuration.
If the default address no longer opens
A changed LAN IP replaces 192.168.0.254. If the access point obtains its address dynamically, inspect the main router’s assigned-device information for its current address. Your computer’s gateway identifies the upstream router, not necessarily this access point.
Check the exact V4 label, local connection and current address. Do not reset or change mode simply to make the factory IP respond. Continue with failed-access checks or choose the correct TP-Link family.
