Open TP-Link router login

Opens http://tplinkwifi.net in a new tab. Connect to your router first.

Find the correct login address

On a connected device, TP-Link documents tplinkwifi.net for supported Wi-Fi routers. Some models use 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1. Use the address on the label or in your device’s gateway settings if the hostname fails.

First-time setup and passwords

Many newer routers ask you to create a local admin password the first time you open the interface. Older models may use admin for both the username and password. A password you have already changed will not revert to those defaults.

Different TP-Link product families

A guide for a conventional Wi-Fi router may not match a Deco mesh system, an extender, or managed networking equipment. Identify the model printed on the label and use its official setup path. Do not assume the same app or web interface applies to every TP-Link product.

Before changing settings

Confirm the model and hardware revision on the equipment label. Write down the current network name and save a configuration backup if your model offers one. Make one change at a time so you can identify which setting affected the connection.

Still unable to sign in?

First check your actual gateway. Then work through our connection and password checks. Keep factory reset as a last resort, especially for ISP-managed equipment.

Make the rest of your network work better

Once you can reach your router, choose the next step for your home.
