Check Archer AX55 and the hardware revision on the label. AX55 Pro is a separate product; TP-Link’s download page separates regional hardware versions.
Open TP-Link Archer AX55 settings
Join the AX55 main network, then enter tplinkwifi.net in the browser address bar. TP-Link’s AX55 setup example also uses 192.168.0.1. If the address changed, read the active gateway on your connected device.
Which password does this screen need?
Use the local admin password created during setup, or the linked TP-Link ID when the screen offers that route. The factory Wi-Fi key connects a device; it does not establish your current admin password.
Wi-Fi settings
During initial Quick Setup, the wireless step lets you choose names and passwords for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks. Review whether Smart Connect joins their names before saving. Use the installed firmware’s Wi-Fi controls for later changes.
Setup asks for another username and password
An internet connection using PPPoE requests credentials from your provider. These are different from the AX55 administrator password and your Wi-Fi key. Ask the provider which connection type applies instead of guessing values in Quick Setup.
If you cannot sign in
Check your saved local admin password or recover the linked TP-Link account, depending on the sign-in screen. Consult the correct hardware manual before a reset; a reset removes the configured network.
If the screen asks for a TP-Link account, use account recovery in the official app or website. Confirm that account manages this network. Resetting the equipment is not a way to recover an online account.

If internet access fails too
Compare another device on the same network. One device failing and every device failing need different checks. Note any equipment error and consult your provider when the shared connection remains unavailable.
