This address is documented in the Chinese-market TL-WR702N V1 quick guide. Do not transfer it to every global TL-WR702N variant. Check the regional model/version and existing mode before opening management.
Use this local link only when it matches your own equipment and network. RouterEntry does not detect your gateway or collect passwords.
Match the current mode and connection
The guide’s default AP mode has its DHCP server disabled. A connected client may therefore need a suitable temporary address in the same subnet to reach management. In the documented Router mode, the wired port is WAN and clients connect wirelessly.
Do not switch operating mode just to sign in. If your exact setup needs temporary client network settings, preserve the original values, follow the matching official guide and restore them afterward; do not copy an unrelated network’s values.
Use the current management credentials
This Chinese V1 guide gives unchanged admin/admin credentials. A changed administrator login takes precedence. The wireless key and any ISP credentials serve different purposes; do not enter them automatically into the management fields.
When the gateway is not this access point
Read the connected device’s gateway to understand the upstream network, but an AP is not necessarily that gateway. Check the AP’s present LAN address and the client subnet instead. If a page fails to open, confirm the exact regional version and local connection before further diagnostics.
