Open 192.168.68.1 ↗

Connect to your own router’s Wi-Fi or Ethernet first. Opens in a new tab.

Why this address is associated with Deco

TP-Link documents 192.168.68.1 as Deco’s default LAN address. It can change, so the printed example is only a starting point. In the Deco app, check More → Advanced → LAN IP for the configured value.

Choose the management route

Deco setup uses the official app. On supported models and firmware, a browser interface is also available. Use the Deco X55 guide if that matches your hardware; other models need their own applicability check.

The gateway shown by your computer differs

Check the network you joined and the operating mode. If another router provides routing, its address can appear as the default gateway. Do not change the computer’s network configuration simply to make it match this page.

Opening the address does not discover your router

The button opens the numeric address on your own network. It does not identify which device is there or verify the login page. Confirm the interface belongs to your equipment before entering credentials.

When access fails

Confirm the current address in the app, join the correct network, and check whether your installed firmware supports web management. Missing browser access alone is not a reason for a factory reset. Continue with the troubleshooting guide for connection and password checks.
