Open the interface
Connect to the FRITZ!Box network and type http://fritz.box in the address bar.
Which password?
The type label separates the original FRITZ!Box password from the Wi-Fi network key. Use the current device password for management. If your configuration requests a FRITZ!Box username too, use the local user credentials created for this box.
Why a public page may appear
A local hostname is useful only when your device can resolve it to the intended equipment. Check your connection and read your gateway address if the hostname opens an unexpected website. Confirm the destination before entering credentials.
Find or share the Wi-Fi details
The 7590 manual locates the current wireless key under Wi-Fi → Security. To share access, its Wi-Fi → Wi-Fi Network page provides a connection QR code and printable information sheet. Share it only with people who should join your network.
Forgotten password
If the Forgot Password push service was configured, request its email access link to set a replacement password. This prerequisite matters: the manual otherwise describes restoring factory settings and rebuilding the configuration. Prepare internet, telephone and home-network details before following that procedure.
A MyFRITZ! account and a local FRITZ!Box user are separate. Confirm which sign-in failed before starting recovery.
Check the network role
If another router provides the internet connection, identify which box you are managing before changing settings. Compare another connected device and follow the no-internet checks.
