Choose your equipment
Linksys VelopChoose the local mesh-router login route and check which recovery options your model supports.Linksys MR7350Reach the MR7350 parent router and separate its administrator password from the Wi-Fi key.Opens http://myrouter.local in a new tab. Connect to your router first.
Find the correct login address
For supported Linksys Smart Wi-Fi routers, the official guide documents myrouter.local or the router’s IP address. The documented default for that family is 192.168.1.1; if it was changed, use the current address.
Choose the local sign-in path
The Smart Wi-Fi local interface asks for the router password. On models covered by the official guide, the initial password is admin. If you set a different one, use it instead. These instructions are not a universal password rule for every Linksys product.
Mesh and other Linksys systems
Check the exact model before following steps intended for another product family. An app-managed setup can differ from the older Smart Wi-Fi interface. Local router credentials and an online account can also be different.
Before changing settings
Confirm the model and hardware revision on the equipment label. Write down the current network name and save a configuration backup if your model offers one. Make one change at a time so you can identify which setting affected the connection.
Still unable to sign in?
First check your actual gateway. Then work through our connection and password checks. Keep factory reset as a last resort, especially for ISP-managed equipment.
