Match the full ASUS model name
Read the model and hardware revision on your device before choosing instructions. These three reviewed records are a starting set, not the whole ASUS range.

- Open ASUS settings at 192.168.50.1 if that is your actual router address. Otherwise find the current gateway or use ASUS’s documented hostname.
- For Wi-Fi changes, choose the full RT-AX58U or RT-AX86U Pro guide. Their source-backed tasks distinguish the Wi-Fi key from the management password.
- If settings will not open, check the failed-access path before changing configuration or resetting.
First setup or an existing administrator account?
Connect to your own ASUS network before opening www.asusrouter.com or the actual LAN IP. A new router may show Quick Internet Setup and ask you to create management credentials. For an already configured router, use the current administrator account. The Wi-Fi key joins the wireless network; provider credentials serve a different purpose.
Match the interface to your model and firmware. Do not borrow a different model’s firmware or reset sequence when the screen does not match.

Search all reviewed equipment or request the missing ASUS model. Send only the model and revision, never passwords or account details.
