NETGEAR Orbi RBR50Reach the RBR50 router’s interface and distinguish local admin access from Wi-Fi and account sign-in.NETGEAR Nighthawk RAX50 / RAX50v2Use the RAX50/RAX50v2 manual to reach management and identify the correct password.Opens http://www.routerlogin.net in a new tab. Connect to your router first.
Find the correct login address
NETGEAR documents routerlogin.net and routerlogin.com for supported routers. You can also use the actual gateway IP, commonly 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1. Your device must be connected to the router’s network.
Local admin credentials
For many NETGEAR routers, the initial username is admin and the initial password is password. Check your exact model. If you changed the admin password during setup, use the updated one.
A NETGEAR account is a separate login
The local admin interface and an app or online account are different access paths. Pay attention to which screen you have opened before entering credentials. A Wi-Fi password joins the network and is also distinct from the router admin password.
Before changing settings
Confirm the model and hardware revision on the equipment label. Write down the current network name and save a configuration backup if your model offers one. Make one change at a time so you can identify which setting affected the connection.
Still unable to sign in?
First check your actual gateway. Then work through our connection and password checks. Keep factory reset as a last resort, especially for ISP-managed equipment.
